DeWolfe Park Wedding in Halifax with Nina and Ryan

Nina and Ryan’s had a DeWolfe Park wedding. It was one of the first weddings I have photographed and videographed entirely outdoors. The ceremony and reception was all held right on the Halifax waterfront in the DeWolfe Park, it was awesome!

The Wedding Prep Photos

Nina got ready at the Chateau Bedford in one of their hotel rooms with her bridesmaids and her two children. Ryan got ready at their home in Clayton Park with his groomsmen. It was a quick drive for both to DeWolfe Park where the wedding would be held.

The DeWolfe Park Wedding Ceremony Photos

Nina was walked down the aisle by her uncle and it was a long walk from the roadway down to the waterfront wharf area. she was stunning in a lace fitted gown. Ryan stood waiting for her in a navy suit accented with pink. The ceremony was extremely touching and emotional. They included their two daughters in the ceremony and the love was so evident throughout the entire ceremony.

The DeWolfe Park WeddinWedding Party Photos

Nina and Ryan along with their wedding party took a walk around DeWolfe Park to create their formal photography images.

The Wedding Reception Photos

The reception was also right inside DeWolfe Park, they wanted their wedding to be all in one place and simplified. It was such a lovely day, the sun was shining with just a slight breeze to keep us cool. Nina and Ryan started the reception off with their first dance right on the waterfront with the Halifax bridge in the background, what an amazing scene!

They followed with finger foods for dinner in a buffet style. Everything was just amazing, a real homey feeling.

The O2 Wellness Gym Photos

Nina and Ryan are major gym fans so we just had to end the evening off with a trip to the gym in their wedding attire…talk about unique and different images! LOVED it!!
