A Bent Ridge Winery Wedding….with Nakita and Allen
This is an angelic Bent Ridge Winery wedding, a scene straight out of a fairytale. A sun-kissed vineyard stretching as far as the eye can see, adorned with lush greenery, delicate grapevines and an apple orchard. The air is filled with the sweet aroma of blooming flowers, mingling with the rich scent of aged oak barrels. This is the backdrop that set the stage for Nakita and Allen’s dream wedding, where every moment was infused with a sense of magic and serenity.
The Love Story
Nakita and Steve’s love story began at the office when Nakita was hired onto the same team as Steve. Their connection was undeniable, and about a month later, they started dating. However, they decided to keep their relationship a secret the first year, cherishing their private moments until they were ready to take the next step and move in together.
Their Wedding Day
On their special day, Nakita and Steve were surrounded by the love and laughter of their family and friends. The atmosphere was filled with joy as everyone celebrated their union. Opting for a romantic, rustic style, they carefully selected every detail to complement the venue and the time of year. The ambiance was simply magical, creating a perfect backdrop for their love to shine.
By following these suggestions, you’ll be well on your way to creating a memorable and stress-free wedding experience. Enjoy every moment of this beautiful journey as you prepare to embark on a lifelong adventure together.
The Wedding Prep Photos
For their wedding day, Nakita and Steve wanted to create a special and memorable experience. They decided to book an Airbnb that would not only serve as their accommodation but also as the place where they could get ready for their big day.
Situated right on the edge of a picturesque lake, the Airbnb offered breathtaking views from all the windows along the back of the home. The serene ambiance and natural beauty surrounding the property added to the overall charm and tranquillity of the day.
The Airbnb they chose had a beautifully open-concept configuration. The highlight of this Airbnb was the sliding barn door that separated the ladies’ area from the men’s area. This thoughtful design element ensured that Nakita and Steve could maintain the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony, adding an extra touch of anticipation and excitement.
The Wedding Ceremony Photos
Nakita and Steve had the most memorable experience during a wine tour in the valley a few years back, right in the heart of the early fall season. The sheer beauty of the area captivated them, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Little did they know that enchanting experience would hold even greater significance in their lives.
When Steve finally popped the question, it was if the stars had aligned. Without a moment’s hesitation, both Nakita and Steve knew exactly where they wanted to exchange their vows: a picturesque winery. Although they hadn’t been to Bent Ridge Winery before, they were so confident in their decision that they immediately put down a deposit, knowing they could always change their minds later if necessary.
However, their hearts were set on this winery, and their visit to the venue only solidified their choice. As they stepped foot onto the grounds, a sense of tranquillity washed over them. The sprawling apple orchards stretched out on the right side of the winery while the vineyard of grapevines created a breathtaking backdrop for their wedding ceremony on their special day.
To ensure that Nakita and Steve didn’t catch a glimpse of each other before the ceremony, two smaller tents were set up on either side of the reception tent, providing separate spaces for the bride and groom.
But the true highlight of the venue was the outdoor wedding ceremony area, nestled between the two smaller tents. Against the stunning backdrop of the lush grapevines, a beautiful wooden trellis awaited the couple. The trellis symbolized the intertwining of their lives, their commitment to each other, and the blossoming love they shared.
The Wedding Party Photos
Imagine a picturesque wedding venue that combines the charm of sprawling apple orchards, a majestic grapevine vineyard, and an elegant Italian-style building. The possibilities for capturing truly breathtaking wedding photos with your loved ones and the wedding party are simply limitless.
The Wedding Reception Photos
With the wedding ceremony and formal photos completed, Nakita and Steve’s guests gathered under the massive center tent for their wedding reception. It is now party time for the rest of the night!
Covid and the Wedding Day
Both Nakita and Steve found that vendors were booked very far ahead of time, due to a backlog of weddings from covid. Their advice would be to say, reach out to different vendors to get an idea of what dates they have available and choose a date that is best for both of you.
Advise for the Newly Engaged
If you’ve recently gotten engaged, congratulations! As you embark on this exciting journey of wedding planning, here are a few valuable tips from Nakita and Steve:
- Allow Sufficient Planning Time: Give yourselves ample time to plan your dream wedding. Rushing through the process may lead to unnecessary stress. Take it one step at a time and enjoy the journey.
- Consider a Day of Coordinator: Hiring a day of coordinator can alleviate a great deal of stress on your wedding day. They will ensure that everything runs smoothly, allowing you to fully immerse yourselves in the joy of the occasion.
- Find Time for Each Other: Amidst the wedding planning chaos, it’s essential to prioritize quality time together. Take breaks from the preparations and indulge in activities that strengthen your bond. Remember, the wedding is just one day, but your love is forever.
- Practice Self-Care: Wedding planning can be overwhelming at times, so make sure to take care of yourselves. Whether it’s a spa day, a relaxing bath, or a movie night, prioritize self-care to maintain your well-being throughout the process.
