Farmer’s Market Wedding Venues Nova Scotia

My first love will always be barn style weddings. My second love, elegant Farmer’s Market wedding venues in Nova Scotia. I do have a few of these on my bucket list as well. If you’re planning farmer’s market style wedding and your venue is on my bucket list we absolutely have to chat! Even if I’ve already shot a wedding at your venue, we need to chat! Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market

You could have a beautiful urban wedding at the Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market right on the Halifax waterfront. I love the urban feel of this market and depending on a couple’s wedding theme it could be very urban, elegant or very rustic. There are just too many options for this market venue. A beautiful balcony in the back of the building overlooks George’s Island and the Halifax harbour. Have your wedding upstairs with a view of the waterfront through the wall of windows. You reception can be held on the main floor, its great for any wedding theme.

There is a beautiful space on the second level of the building overlooking the balcony and Halifax harbour for wedding ceremonies. Then the lower level is a massive area with plenty of room for your wedding guests to party.

Bedford Basin Farmer’s Market

I had the pleasure of photographing a more elegant style wedding at the Bedford Basin Farmer’s Market in October of 2019. Loved the glass chairs, that was a first at weddings for me. I could so see those chairs at a Cinderella style themed wedding. This venue was very open concept, lot’s of room for your guests to party. I was expecting a more rustic look to this venue but it just goes to show that even a Farmer’s Market venue can be very elegant depending on the couple’s theme and decorations! I loved the book decorations on the tables, a very elegant design. The sweetheart table was also very elegant with flowers and lit candles.
