A Simple but Elegant Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market Wedding with Jocelyn and Connor

Jocelyn and Connor had their wedding at the Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market in July of 2017. It was a beautiful hot July day with very little clouds overhead.

The Wedding Prep Photos

Jocelyn got ready in a suite at the Westin Hotel with her mother and bridal party. Not every groom loves getting his picture taken so we let Connor off the hook for getting ready pictures. We did a few family pictures for Jocelyn’s side of the family prior to the wedding ceremony. Those pictures took place on a balcony at the Westin Hotel. Connor had a car drive to the ceremony location. Jocelyn had a quick walk across the road to the Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market.

The Wedding Ceremony Photos

The ceremony was held in the Gallery room at the Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market. Jocelyn’s father walked her up the aisle. Connor was waiting by the row of windows along the back of the room. The wedding was a very short, simple but lovely wedding ceremony. We then proceeded to the balcony for a few formal images with family and the wedding party. From there we Jocelyn and Connor headed out onto the Halifax boardwalk for a few formal pictures of just the two of them.

The Wedding Reception Photos

The reception was held on the main floor of the Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market. Jocelyn and Connor started the wedding reception with their first dance and a thank you speech. The dinner was a buffet style menu. The food as always was amazing. They then continued into the evening with dancing. At the end of the night Jocelyn rustled up Connor for a few night photography pictures.
