Beth and James had an absolutely beautiful rustic Kinley farm barn wedding just outside Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The day was sunny and warm with just a few clouds to hide the sun. They had a lot of friends and family with them to share in so many beautiful moments.

Advise for the Newly Engaged

Get as much planning done ahead of time so you can enjoy that week. Also if you can afford to hire someone to decorate and tear down it would be a very good idea. That part Beth and James found exhausting. Covid definitely down sized their wedding due to many guests not being able to make it but it meant they cherished the memories even more.

Beth and James met on the 5th floor (the jungle) of risley hall, their residence at Dalhousie University. The floor was like a big family, eating most meals together. They started as friends but as the year went on they got closer. The perfect way in which a love story should begin.

Beth got ready in her family home near Lunenburg NS with her closest friends and family. Her tierra was something to see! While James got ready at an Air BnB in Lunenburg with his groomsmen and family.

Beth and James favorite part of their wedding day was getting to see all their friends and family. Thanks to covid they had not seen many of their guests in 2 years. They chose the Kinley Farm in October as they wanted a barn style wedding with fall colours. Beth and James’s wedding was definitely more relaxed just like they are. Their rehearsal dinner was a barbecue at Beth’s parents house. At the wedding they had lawn games as well as a campfire addition to the traditional dinner/dance. They chose more minimalistic type decorations to showcase the rustic barn.
