An Ocean View Wedding, White Point with Erin and Colton

Erin and Colton had their ocean view wedding in early November of 2016, at the stunning White Point Beach Resort in Nova Scotia. They opted for oceanside for their wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful sunny autumn day.

The Wedding Prep Photos

Erin and Colton got ready in separate cottages on the venue’s grounds. The atmosphere in both cottages was fun, upbeat with lots of excitement. They both walked a short distance to the ceremony location, ocean side of the venue.

The First Look Photos

Erin and Colton began continued their day with a private first look prior to the wedding ceremony. They chose the restaurant’s fireplace in the main lodge for their first look. It was quite emotional!

The wedding ceremony was on the ocean side of the main hall at the White Point Beach Resort. Colton walked up the aisle first followed by his groomsmen. Erin met her father at the bottom of the stairs of the main hall. They both walked up the aisle together. The wedding ceremony was a beautiful sentimental exchange of vows. They also had a short sand ceremony together. It was very touching.

The Wedding Reception Photos

The wedding reception was held in the main lodge at White Point Beach Resort. Erin and Colton chose White Point because of Erin’s love for the bunnies. Her one request was to get a picture of her feeding the bunnies in her wedding gown and we did just that! The theme for the wedding was autumn and fall country rustic. Lots of country style jars with candles, ladders and light bulbs were strung around the venue. The cake was amazing, decorated in fall and autumn colors with pumpkins. The dinner was buffet style and as always absolutely delicious. They ended the evening with a first dance and parent dances.
