A Stunningly Beautiful Prince George Hotel Wedding – Allie & Alex

A stunning and touching Prince George Hotel wedding in August of 2015. Allie and Alex had their wedding on a sunny August day on the balcony of the hotel, over looking the Halifax city. They got married under a beautiful rustic wooden trellis adorned with purple flowers.

The Wedding Prep Photos

Allie prepared for her wedding day at her parent’s home in Cole Harbour. Her sister was one of her bridesmaids and helped her get ready. Her parents and brother were also there to give a helping hand. We had a quick bridal photo session in her parent’s backyard which was beautifully landscaped with a gazebo and golf green. Alex and his groomsmen got ready in a room at the Prince George Hotel.

The Wedding Ceremony Photos

Allie and Alex had their wedding ceremony on the balcony under a wooden wedding arch trellis. The balcony was an absolutely gorgeous space to get married in, with the stunning greenery and the purple flowers. An elegant wedding aisle runner in white with the bride and groom’s names and wedding date, led to the front alter area. Small yellow flowers matching the bridal bouquet ran the length of the wedding aisle runner on both sides. The ring bearer was the first to walk the aisle holding a sign that read “

Allie and Alex opted for a 45 minute walk from the Prince George Hotel down to the Grand Parade and then around the Historic Properties for their wedding party photos.

We arrived back at the Prince George Hotel for Allie and Alex’s wedding reception. Dinner and speeches started off the evening with Allie’s brother and sister at the podium. They finished their evening off with their first dance.
