We are Falling for the Wedding First Look
I can’t deny it, I’ve fallen in love with the wedding first look and that moment of anticipation. That first glimpse of the one you love most, on the day you tie your souls together is an indescribable moment. It’s almost as if the world stops spinning and time falls away. Butterflies flutter in your stomach and you find your heart beats faster than a hummingbird’s wings. Your knees get weak, and your palms begin to sweat like the first time you held hands. Yet, you are perfectly at peace when you gaze into your fiancée’s eyes. You know you are safe, Ioved, and cherished.
The Romantic First Look
There are many different ways that couples will plan their first look. Couples traditionally see each other for the first time on their wedding day at the start of the aisle. The slow walk, allowing for the opportunity to take each other in, while also affording guests the pleasure of seeing the special moment.
A wedding first look is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, full of anticipation and emotions. Some couples opt out of the aisle tradition to share that emotional moment alone with each other. With a wedding first look, you’ll have the opportunity to have a quiet moment alone together to share private words with each other. This moment is all about you and your partner, and it will create memories to last a lifetime. But the most important thing about a first look is the photographs. A first look usually takes place before the ceremony, allowing the photographer to capture that initial moment of seeing each other in all its glory. It’s a moment that will stay with you forever, and the photographs will be a lasting reminder of the love you share.
Staged first look photos before the ceremony are a beautiful option for couples wishing to calm their nerves and enjoy a special, more touching and intimate moment before they walk down the aisle. This also provides the perfect opportunity to take special photos that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to get. The images on this post are just a fraction of my favorite first looks.
The Fun and Quirky First Look
If you are hoping for something a little bit more fun and quirky to match your personality, how about this very nontraditional first look? Here, the Best Man actually put on a wedding gown and surprised the Groom. The real Bride, of course, was standing by taking it all in through the window of the farmhouse.
Some people might find it inappropriate to pinch one another’s behinds at the end of the wedding ceremony aisle. A wedding first look gives a couple a moment in time to be themselves together, expressive and natural without worrying about their behavior being deemed inappropriate.
For couples that are a bit nervous or overwhelmed on the big day, a first look can be a great way to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Not only that, but it can also give a couple a chance to get the perfect picture that captures their true emotions. Images from a first look can be incredibly romantic and provide a beautiful reminder of your special day for years to come. If you’re looking for a way to make your wedding day even more special and memorable, a first look might be the perfect choice.
Like everything in life, it’s important to think about what matters most to you. Are you alright foregoing a traditional one for a private one? Or a romantic first look for a funny one? Whatever you decide, take it all in and don’t be worried about rushing the moment. It’s one you will want to remember forever. I would be thrilled to talk about creating the most exciting, sentimental and emotional wedding first look for your special day!
