There are so many different wedding guest book ideas online. I’ve photographed a lot of weddings over the years but these would have to be my top favorites. Some of these signs are actually DIY friendly!!!

Wooden Guest Book Signs

Absolutely love the wooden wedding guestbook idea, guests can sign with markers. If you decide to make your own DIY style, beware of the paint or stain you use and the markers you choose. You want the markers to stand out against the paint or stain you choose for the wood. You can also fine options like these on Etsy!

Frame Style Guest Books

Love the DIY wooden hearts in a frame idea. At one of my latest weddings the wedding planner took the wooden hearts and placed them on the dinner tables for guests to sign. They then collected them afterwards and put each into the frame. Choose an image from your engagement photography session for your frame and colorful markers for your guests to use to sign the border around the image. Michael’s and Etsy offer these ideas!

Paper Guest Book Ideas

Then of course there are the regular guestbooks you can buy at Michael’s. There are also wooden guestbooks you can order online engraved with your information on them. Or take the time to create one online with your engagement images intertwined with the pages your guests write on. Etsy is a great place to find these items!

My Favorite Guest Book Idea

This has been by far my favorite idea for a guestbook. Have a friend use one of those new insta cameras to take pictures of your guests as they are signing your guestbook. Then take those images and hang them up during the wedding next to the guestbook. Once the wedding day has ended take those images and put them next to the couples message to you in your guestbook! I think this is an awesome idea.
