Lord Nelson Hotel Wedding in Halifax with Karen and Gerry

Karen and Gerry’s wedding was so stunningly elegant in every aspect. They had their wedding at the Lord Nelson Hotel in Halifax in September of 2018. It is such a beautiful, elegant, and stylish venue. Here is their elegant wedding.

The Wedding Prep Photos

Karen got ready in one of the hotel rooms with all of her bridesmaids and Gerry’s daughter. The atmosphere was quiet and easy going. Gerry got ready in a different hotel room with his grandson. His daughter dropped by to share an emotional moment with her father. Both Karen and Gerry took an elevator ride to the Admiral Room for their wedding ceremony.

The Lord Nelson Hotel Wedding Ceremony Photos

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, emotional and very elegant. The stunning Admiral Room needs no decorations. Emotional moments filled their ceremony. There was a lot of smiling and laughing.

The Wedding Party Photos at the Public Gadens

We had a quick walk across the street to the Public Gardens for their formal pictures after the ceremony. What a beautiful location for family and wedding party pictures! The sun was shining and it was a beautiful September day. I loved the sunset image by the castle like building towards the back of the public gardens.

The Wedding Reception Photos

A quick walk back across the street to the Lord Nelson Hotel for the wedding reception. The dinner and speeches were held in the Admiral Room. The meal was a sit down served meal, your choice of chicken or fish. The food was absolutely amazing as always. The wedding speeches followed with lots of laughter. A few tears were also seen. We then moved into the Georgian Lounge for the first dance and danced the rest of the night away. It was an absolutely beautiful day!
