An Elopement Garden Backyard Wedding with Darlene and Dave
What an absolutely beautiful day for an elopement garden backyard wedding! Just the right amount of warmth with the sun shining brightly. Planning a wedding can be a daunting task no matter the size and scale. Darlene and Dave had originally planned for that large scale wedding but then changed their minds. Opting for a stunning elopement backyard wedding to celebrate their big day with the closest of family and friends. The backyard they chose was that of a friend and it provided the most intimate and romantic setting for their nuptials.

There short, sweet and meaningful backyard elopement began with a first look at the wooden gate adorned with green veins. The entrance to their perfect garden backyard wedding.
The Wedding Ceremony Photos
I love when couples bring their uniqueness out and Darlene and Dave definitely had a unique elopement. They designed a short ceremony that reflects their unique love story. The ceremony started with a calling of the witches from the east, west, north and south. Followed by a knot tying ceremony with vibrant colors of yellow, purple and blue ropes. Finishing with a jumping of the broom! Surrounded by their closest family and friends they tied the knot. Together they truly had a one-of-a-kind event that I am sure they will cherish for years to come.

Darlene and Dave opted for a short dinner with their family and friends in the meeting area of an apartment building near Mic Mac Mall. In a very relaxed atmosphere they signed their marriage certificate, cut the cake and mingled with their guests.
