A Rustic Barn Wedding with Tara and Elliot at the Barn at Sadie Belle Farm
Tara and Elliot’s wedding was one of those amazing rustic barn weddings, I love so much.
Covid 19 couldn’t stop this love story! Their hashtag was literally, #campbellsovercovid! They chose the Barn at Sadie Belle Farm, located in Hantsport, NS. It was an absolutely stunning venue choice for a wedding. Due to the lovely covid restrictions, they chose to host the entire wedding outdoors.
The Wedding Prep Photos
Tara got ready with her bridesmaids in the little white farm house on the property. It was so quaint, a true rustic farm experience. What a lovely large area to get ready in as well. I absolutely loved the colors she chose for her wedding decor. Such vibrance!
While Elliot got ready with his groomsmen at the Super 8 hotel in Windsor, Nova Scotia. It was a great time had by all with the addition of alcohol!
A Rustic Barn Wedding Ceremony
I loved everything about their venue, right down to the many different antique style chairs for their guests to sit in during the wedding ceremony. It was such an enchanting experience.
I loved the flower guy, that was just too awesome and so unique. He came down from the barn throwing flower petals into the air and then danced down the aisle sprinkling the petals everywhere. It got a great chuckle from the guests and then he blew flower petals at the mothers of the bride and groom.
The Wedding Party Photos
What a great place to have a wedding, especially if you don’t want to leave the venue grounds. Everything you need for beautiful backdrops is present. We started walking around the barn grounds then headed for the meandering river just a few feet a way. The first wedding photo had to be with everyone in the wedding party wearing their masks which were handmade by the bride’s grandmother:)
Next we took a truck ride provided by the venues owner’s up to the very top of a large hill for a few more wedding photos.
A Rustic Barn Wedding Reception
Covid really couldn’t stop this couple or their guests. Tara and Elliot opted for a buffet style dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs and sandwiches along with some awesome desserts. Cupcakes are becoming a very popular alternative to the wedding cake these days. The speeches were moved outdoors as well as the first dance and parent dances. It was a beautiful evening with everyone laughing, posing for the camera and having fun!
The last image of the night was one I just had to have once I saw the trellis all lit up in lights once the sun went down. It is by far one of my favorite images from this wedding.
